I have seen these on the XDA forums where you post what you are doing. A little like twitter. its quite fun. Im not sure if you can do this on a forum. But XDA has one, so why dont we?

What have i been doing? I made a image for this thread and have been finishing off my CM7 + Beats/Dolby ROM. Also making a start to my MiUi one AND resizing HTC Sense for the Blade. Hope that comes out well.

This is a good idea weeo. If people actually start to write on this, I think you'll find people from all walks of life and ability. Honestly, this global community thing, really amazes me. Probably because I'm old enough to be a father to most of you and I could have never imaged something like this a few decades ago.

Turned 50 last year, and when I was a boy computers took up whole rooms and you used a punch card to programme them. I remember in the early 70's my dad bought a Texas Instruments calculator for $100 USD! And all it did was the four basic math functions (i.e. no square root, etc) Not sure what $100 would be in today's money, but I'm guessing as much as most smartphones are today.

So, you guys are taking me to school here, and I'm just hanging on your coat tails. I reckon a few of us are, and I for one am grateful that y'all share what you know. This is great forum for the most part.

Oh, btw: I am an American who's been living in Wales for the last 8 years as a husband, step-father to 3, and grandfather to 4 lovely kids.

PS: Weeo, I saw that drama over the MIUI rom, hope you able to learn from the experience.

All the best,

Bill

Come on folks there's a lot more of you out there to get involved in making this forum a little more family oriented. Don't be shy say a little about yourself. We all have the same goals to make are budget phones as good as possible. This can only be done when we put all are knowledge together.

Thought I may as well join in with this, I'm 17, living in Scotland atm, doing 5 highers - maths, modern studies, history, computing and psychology. I'm off to uni next year to study software development. And oh! I've got a basic port of xperia ice cream sandwich working on my blade, it just needs a little resizing and a few other things and it has the potential to become quite a nice ROM ;). The names Ben btw :L
