Guest android@sam Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Hello guys!I tried to port ics rotation animation to gb rom.To get this working I edited the surface_flinger.so and surfaceflinger_client.so as it was in ics rom.But it didn't boot up. So guys help me to get it working.I have attached the two files from ics rom. regards, samlibzzzz.zip
Guest KonstaT Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) Look here. It needs plenty of framework changes. It's not a surfaceflinger thing. You should look into modifying framework.jar, android.policy.jar, services.jar and framework-res.apk. It should be possible to do, but not at all easy (= I'm not going to do it :P). Guest KonstaT Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Like it says there at xda, that only works on Samsung devices. Maybe Samsung has done it differently. There is no way of modifying the native libraries without compiling them from source (at least not to that extent). Link I posted is exactly how it's backported to CM7. It's also basically how it's done in AOSP from Gingerbread to ICS. CM7 has this feature you know...
