Guest mifran Posted March 18, 2012 Report Posted March 18, 2012 (edited) I have a rooted monte carlo which i have unlocked and de-orangenated i.e. removed all orange bloatware I have installed titanium backup and es file explorer and everytime any app accesses the su or i reboot the phone I get a message saying the su binary is out of date so i update it to 3.5 but it still gives me the same message the next time either of the stated actions occur is there any cure<br /><br />mifran Edited March 18, 2012 by mifran
Guest CoaBalboa Posted March 18, 2012 Report Posted March 18, 2012 Did you update binaries through Superuser? Connect to the Internet, go to Superuser app, Menu - Preferences - and under SU info, TAP to check for updates (2nd option).

There's something in the one in the first link where it creates/restores the outdated su file on boot. Usually it's just as simple as replacing the boot.img from the superboot file with the one from the original stock rom.

I have done this but after updating to 3.03.2 the su binary reverts to v2.3.2-efgh every time i reboot thanks for trying to help mifran
