dsixda's kitchen, few questions

I am using dsixda's kitchen to try and modify a rom to my preference.

Basically swapping a few apk's around.

I chose edify or else I get the error below in clockworkmod recovery.

to ensure compatibility with newer custome recovery images

you have the option of using an updater script (Edify) instead of

an update script (amend) in your roms zip file.

I choose zip align and sign the rom. The rom flashes but wont boot.

It gets to the boot animation and wont go any further.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong. I have tried it with not signing the rom and I get the same result.

The only thing I have changed is apk's and I am on wbaw's V10 partition ready for ICS.

Any help much appreciated as I have done a search and cant find anything regarding this.

Just use a zip file manager like winzip to replace apks, much more simple.

can you drag and drop them as unzipping and rezipping seems to cause issues for me.

Yeah you can, just delete and add apks of your choice, you don't need to unzip.
