Guest TBBle Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 I picked up the same device under the name 'FPT Tablet II' in Vietnam, there's almost no useful information about them I can find out on the 'net. I used the guide at http://android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=HOWTO:_Unpack%2C_Edit%2C_and_Re-Pack_Boot_Images to extract the kernel and bootloader from my recovery image, but wasn't able to boot them using 'fastboot boot kernel ramdisk'... I noticed your recovery.img is slightly different to mine, how did you extract it? I used 'cat /dev/mtd/mtd0' to extract my images, because the nandread binary in the image is for Linux 2.6.32 and the device is running Linux 2.6.35, and I haven't gotten around to producing a compatible nandread binary.

I don't remember exactly procedure but you need to root your tablet before following http://android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=HOWTO:_Unpack%2C_Edit%2C_and_Re-Pack_Boot_Images (use super oneclick 2.3 to root) I still have no way to change recovery using clockwork recovery so that I can upgrade to another firmware. I found our device has strange recovery file size, it is around 51MB while the others almost below 5MB If you have any news pls share to me!
