Orange Monte Carlo SD Card Problem

OK, so I have been running Atomic V6 for a couple of months without a problem. (nice rom)

I dont mess about with the settings much on a day to day basis but today for some reason my SD card all of a suddend was not reconized.

I did the usual, rebooted, removed/cleaned the card, but nothing, the phone just does just says the card is not present or not mounted.

If i connect to the pc with usb nothing happens, accept charging.

I currently dont have a card reader to hand to try that.

I think the card may of somehow become corrupt but i just think its strange as i hadnt been using the phone much.

I was wondering if anyone could throw some more light on this for me, the phone works fine but i am obviously without all my apps, pictures and music. Not to mention Angry Birds which I am at quite an advaced stage on lol
