Guest Maxsas360 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 (edited) Wifi does work. There is no a2sd... And home button does not work. Edited March 25, 2012 by Maxsas360
Guest leetron1 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 (edited) Wifi does work. There is no a2sd... And home button does not work.. Home button works fine here...needed to manually add APN for Orange sim...setCPU working fine..added Link2SD which seems to work ok... Really impressed..quite unique approach in places...love the lockscreen :) App drawer slightly laggy when opening is my only gripe which says quite a lot!! Edit: Switched app drawer enter effect to Magic Lamp(!) = smooth as butter...will be staying with this ROM for now ;) Edited March 25, 2012 by leetron1
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 home button working here also. I don't have wifi so can't test. I also use magic lamp so was wondering where you saw the lag as I don't see any anywhere. Forgot I had switched that setting
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 (edited) I'm pretty sure I read that these guys collaborate with Qualcomm to try and get the perfect rom. Cooperating with leading chipset such as Qualcomm, Spreadtrum and MTK, Tapas has put forward reference designs which make Andriod migration and deployment much more efficient and effective. Wouldn't be surprised..really am blown away...thanks for bringing this to the fore on Modaco..seems to be an eclectic mix of whats best from CM and MIUI...a real keeper >> () One slight maybe bug...when I select hide statusbar in desktop settings it disappears as expected but leaves a transparent bar when I pull down notification...but I really am nitpicking now...DX ftw!! Guest leetron1 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 I have got problem with sim. This rom doesn't see my sim card from Orange. Any ideas? Edit: I'v got this problem when I have google apps instaled. when I have clear rom sim card is working me too my friend...had to manually enter APN for Orange>>> lookie here
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 It has been likened to miui but devs point out that its a completely new build and this can be seen in their own apps. Love the battery app especially. There was no mention of it here so I wondered why as I love it and they develop for about 8 phones I think. They have been around a while but got overshadowed by miui last year
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Yes sorry, apn settings will have to be manually entered, easy to do. I'm on giffgaff and entered mine from memory. Someone recommended elsewhere that they do screenshots of their apn settings before flashing a new rom so they can refer to that if apn settings aren't included in a rom.
Guest leetron1 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Be surprised now that it's up if folk don't jump all over it.... I, prob like most, have got CM7 smooth & flying....but is this even better
Guest themref Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 me too my friend...had to manually enter APN for Orange>>> lookie here Thx man ^^
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 leetron, have you swiped down on the bottom of the screen yet where the dialler is?
Guest leetron1 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 leetron, have you swiped down on the bottom of the screen yet where the dialler is? I have...just another fantastic little feature...you mean the 3D homescreen scroller? (people will think I've got shares in this ROM at this rate...no more posts for at least a half hour )
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 That's the one. I'm just glad I have someone to share the excitement of a new rom with instead of keeping it to myself. Surprised saransh9 didn't share it as he is on xda
Guest fp30 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 isnt this just dxhome launcher on an AOSP GB ROM? or has the rom itself been improved?

Guest Cyclothunder Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 looks great! is this rom cm based?
Guest John Enter Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Don't think so. Anyway, I'm using gingerbread miui now, but the reactions here really make me want to try this gonna make a backup and see if this is any good.
Guest Maxsas360 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 It is really good. Home button works. The rom downloaded badly. It's so smooth I don't overclock (I will).
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 This is not cm based.
