problem when i tried to install ROM for ZTE SKATE

Hello every body !

I'm new in this forum ^^ & I liked it so much

I have a problem when you tried to install ROM of the phone

yesterday i have installed ICS 4 rom for my ZTE SKATE

but it was full of errors & the camera don't work !! and many problems ...

So i downloaded other roms for my phone from this forum

but it didn't worked ! :blink:

& a message appears while the instalation of the rom :

E:failed to verify whole-file signature

E:signature verification failed

Plz help me to fix this prob ! :unsure::(

The phone iS : ZTE SKATE 4.3

Recovery -> install zip from SD card -> toggle signature verification

turn it off.

i haven't find it in setting ! :mellow:

plz give me all the steps from the beginning ^^ because i'm a beginner ;) :D

recovery is the ClockWorkMod Recovery jsut where you install any rom. It is what you're using in the pic you showed before

Yes i know , but where i find " install zip from SD card -> toggle signature verification " there ?

there is just :

-reboot system now

-apply sdcard:update.zip

-wipe data/factory rest

-wipe cache partition

Plz help me to fix it :(

Handset driver : http://minus.com/mbhLiMVZ38#1 Google USB Driver : http://drivers.softp...=139077&t=4&i=1

Install these drivers and try again... Good luck, i must go..

Install these drivers and try again... Good luck, i must go..

To extend...make sure you have USB debugging on in development in settings.....then when you see waiting for device, go in device manager, right click on unknown device, update drivers, browse for a file, and select the Google USB driver .inf file

You don't need the handset driver, just the Google one.

See if you can update the driver of the zte composite adb driver , odd that it says waiting for a device when it says you have adb
