BootAnimation.zip does not work on ZTE Blade?

Hi Guys,

I am trying to manually copy over a rather cool BootAnimation.zip that I found on the web. I liked the look of it since I saw a YouTube trailer for the phone it comes from... the GooApple phone, which is a clone of the iPhone...

However, I have copied this to both

\ system \ media

and,

\ data \ local

And neither seems to work, all I get is the standard default...

So, whats going wrong then...? or cant it support it...??

What rom are you on . I found this on Google play " boot animation installer" and it works perfectly with Swedish snow rls6 and lots of other roms. The boot animation you posted is one of the ones available. My favorite is the dancing Ginger bread man. Only costs less then £1 u.k , but well worth it.

Boot animation installer 1.4.3 has a android robot widget on the app cover if that helps.

Also a fan of red dwarf.

I didnt see this reply until this morning, and I installed one of them.... however not the one you listed above, and some how after attempting to install a BootAnimation.zip on my phone, its like its reset it to previous settings.... so lost all my contacts, apps, and even google apps?? just a basic CM7 build.... DOH!!! :(

Not that I am blaming you, or that its an issue as it was a basic setup, and everything is backed up... so thats coools, just dont know why it reset everything??? lol

Anyway, yes... Red Dwarf is awesome... loved the raw comedy.... :)

Stoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast....

Sorry about not getting back to you last night. I got my head down early hoping to be awoke to Temple Run. So things didn't work out for me either.
