Guest felystar Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 (edited) Hey guys, I found this app wich is for change your density per inch (DPI). And I was wondering if it would work in our Skates with CM9. I found three apps. DPI Changer - Google Play LCD Resolution- Google Play LCD Density Modder - Google Play What do u think would work better in our Skates? Do u think it will work? I wanna change it because I think that for its big screen it has a low resolution. And the Galaxy Nexus screen is a little bit bigger and it has a very good resolution wich makes its screen very tidied :) PD: I would install it if I have my phone hear but that's not my cause. This Friday its gonna get a lot of new things :D Edited March 27, 2012 by felystar

Guest PejotA Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 I used LCD Density Modder pro it works well. had my dpi set to 215 looks good. but am back to Ice Armor III for time being. Hey guys ... downloaded Density Modder Pro and set 210 DPI perfect! Working very well here. Great tip man! Thanks so much! :D:D:D
Guest hugobosslives Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 i prefer to do it manually. all those apps do are change a line in the rom prop if you download root explorer, es file explorer (or any root filer app) you can simply open up the file in a text editor change the line to what you wish, save and reboot.
Guest Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 Lcd density modder does the job right. The problem with doing it yourself is that when you use market some apps will not be downloadable because your resolution has changed. If you set your density to say for example 200dpi you will get your device is not compatible with this app message on market with some apps. Lcd density modder downloads a tweaked market apk that overcomes this problem.
Guest akay Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 (edited) if you do it via the prop file and some programs or games dont display full screen you have to edit the prop file again. with Density Modder its just quick and easy as a reboot. you can also use it on non-rooted phones ,and as jikobutsu said it comes with its own market fix. Guest felystar Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 and why some apps don't work?? If I change that file instead using these aps, I won't get those problems?
