Microphone problem - AGAIN

I have a problem, pretty same as it is described in topics above. I got new Skate, use it around 24h, left over night, and at the morning, mic is not working at all. Phone will be changed for another, that is not a problem. Problem is: is this common issue? What is causing that faulty? Custom ROM? Hardware failure? Custom kernel? Some of the options in ROM, stock or custom? Aliens?

I ask, because dont want to get a new phone with same problem.

One of those topics is mine.

Thankfully I rarely call otherwise it would be a huge issue.

I opened the phone up and tried to blow excess dust out.

I then got my screwdriver and made the mic whole bigger.

This has helped slightly

I had this today (using coldfusion rom) had to full wipe and re install to resolve:-(

is soldering needed to replace it?have no idea where to get parts too. looks like simillar problem.

apologies- spelling mistake in my post.

I made the HOLE bigger by using a screwdriver.

It didn't resolve the issue enough for me and I've now moved onto a Sony Xperia Arc S (gorgeous phone!)
