Swedish Snow RLS6 on San Fran (ZTE Blade)

Hi, I have Swedish snow RLS6 running on my moms orange San Francisco.

It runs well but it doesn't seem to notify when someone txts or there is a missed call.

Nothing shows on the home screen or the lock screen.

It bleeps when a txt is received but if you miss it the only way of knowing is by actually accessing the txt MSG app.

Missed calls only shows a tiny red phone in top left off screen. Again you have to access contacts too see any details.

Is there a way of putting notifications on home screen or lock screen or is there some software which is more suitable?

It's suposed to be like this, missed calls and txts appear on status bar. Oh ok will that app help show up missed calls & received txts?

It would be ok for me but my old dear gets confused and needs it simple x

It can't be more simple, if the screen is locked, it pop ups and shows a box with the missed thing (call, txts, twitter, any notification you want) with two buttons clear (notification) and answer if it is call or a sms. Try it, let she get used to it.

gosms comes up with a box on screen by default for messages and there are some caller apps that do it as well (there caller app does it but i perfer the default caller app)

i have the same problem...missed many sms everyday...rls5...wish to fix it next version...
