Guest e.miron Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 Hi there. I have a ZTE Skate bought from Orange Spain, with the MonteCarlo name, I have unlocked it an now I have Tilal's CM7 working flawlessly on it. I have boght also a screen protector, but unfortunately is a protector that I have to cut to size, as is a generic one, much bigger that the Skate. I was wondering where exactly is the proximity sensor location, and if I have to cut a hole on the protector or it will work even if it is covered by the protector..
Guest siddis Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) You will cut the the screen protector with battleaxe.?.? The distance of the sensor from the screen is approx. 3 mm... The red circle shows the place of the proximity sensor on my phone.. Edited April 5, 2012 by siddis
Guest e.miron Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Thanks all for answers, it turns out that the sensor is not even covered by the protector, as it is outside of the screen area. I managed to cut it, ''almost'' in the screen shape, attached it to the screen without bubbles and for now all is good.
Guest CoaBalboa Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 But is it left or right sensor. Because there is a two of them. Proximity and light sensor.
