MP3 as ringtone

Hello guys! Is my first post at the forum so would like to thank you all for the advices learned here.

I'm having a problem setting mp3 files as ringtones. I've already tried fle managers (astra, etc..), tried tone picker wich selects the mp3 file but when phone rings the sound is the default ringtone. Tried to create ringtone folder in sdcard, even tried to paste the mp3 file in the device internal memory and even to convert to ogg and paste in there.

And nothing results.

Any ideas?

Also if using power amp, long press on the song will bring up some options, press more then ringtone. What ever song you select will be the default ringtone.

add folder on sd card called ringtones put them in there then when you want to set ringtone they will be there same with notification tones, thats what i did even changing roms still got my own ringtone and notification sound when setting back up.

if you can select the ringtone and the selection isn't saved and keeps ringing as default - reinstall the ROM.
