Guest Sulthekk Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) Hmmm.... sounds nasty! Just an advise: It's a good idea to replace the default bootanimation... and edit the translations for 'Disable bootanimation', as at least in hungarian it says 'Faszkalap!' when you tick it, and that's very rude... it means something like d*ckhead... Guest adizz Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Can't wait to see how this turns out. Hmmm.... sounds nasty! In burstlam's roms, disable bootanim gets translated to j*rk. Lol
Guest tilal6991 Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Burstlam was apparently using a combo of CM and AOKP. That would cause some translation issues because of the merging.

Who was the idiot whole translated that?!
Guest targetbsp Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 For those users (like me 5 minutes ago!) who don't know what AOKP is, read this: http://knowmydroid.com/blog/what-is-aokp-rom-how-is-it-different-from-cm9
Guest Sulthekk Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) Who was the idiot whole translated that?! IDK... Maybe they wanted to be funny... That's the default AOKP bootanim on sgs i9000: http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DX5x65PSl2xI%26feature%3Dyoutube_gdata_player&feature=youtube_gdata_player&v=X5x65PSl2xI&gl=HU Edited April 7, 2012 by Sulthekk

NOOOO! KEEP THE BOOT ANIMATION IT'S SICK! *those who don't want it can just delete it from the ROM before flashing" Edited April 7, 2012 by kimomini
Guest Sulthekk Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 I think most users would replace or remove it as soon as possible. Another view: Remove it from the rom, and upload it as a separate flashable zip.

Guest sej7278 Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Coming today. Or tommorow. can we not just get ZTE phone supported added to AOKP like Cyanogenmod? its getting a bit ridiculous with all of these fusion ports of CM9, AOSP and now AOKP. nothing will ever get fed back into the main distro's and all development will be by one or two people instead of hundreds.

Cyanogen and AOKP don't want any devices apart from MSM7X30 and MSM8860. And the GN and Nexus S. Miui will never support anything apart from ARMv7.

Guest targetbsp Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 so are the blade/skate no longer going to be supported in CM9 or are they just not taking new devices? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere they'd said it wouldn't be officially supported in CM9. Whether the release of the new drivers will change that stance I don't know.

Guest targetbsp Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Ah cool. perhaps it was someones interpretation of that flow chart about your chances if there are no chipset drivers for your phone rather than a flat out 'no' from the CM team. I never got around to following the link referenced as to us not getting official support. And I can't remember whereabouts the post was now lol.

The flow chart has huge amounts of discrepancies and interpretations. The flow chart I think said 10% with no drivers and 50% with drivers.
Guest axebarauna Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 can we have ics softbuttons in aokp? Zip file for cm9 from forum will be compatible? Or is this possible to have a tick option to turn softbuttons on/off? I really want to try it :D Wysłane z mojego ZTE-BLADE za pomocą Tapatalk
