Guest MadeInMachines Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 (edited) The OMC shows up on my mac and my phone pairs with it but it just says paired but not connected on my phone. My file transfers fail. Any ideas? My phone is rooted but not unlocked (I think). Edited April 8, 2012 by MadeInMachines

Guest bartvdv Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 Using the factory rom - nothing fancy. Did get rid of a lot of orange bloatware. same here using factory rom which is by far the best battery saver ... Having the same problem with bluetooth, i noticed there are 2 instances of btfiletransfer running, haven't figured out which one is needed and which one is faulty... there are some official ZTE updates however that might bring other problems like, no longer be able to use clockwork and root access etc... so far i have been using a program from google store "software datacable" which turns the phone into a FTP server over wifi and it is much faster than BTooth that way ... I have stockrom B01 ... i noticed there is up to B08 available but didn't test any of those ... YET

What do the ZTE updates claim to fix? Anyone got any ideas about the bluetooth issue? - not that I use it much - can't see myself with all tooled up with a wireless headset or anything lol. I too am a Mac user and bluetooth transfer is 'hit and miss', with the success rate being as low as two in 10 tries. I have abandoned attempts at getting bluetooth to work.
Guest bartvdv Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 everything else works fine with bluetooth, jabra headset bt3030 and all functions work fine ... it is only file transfer that isn't working ZTE brings update but fail to tell what it will update .... trail and mainly error to figure out what has been updated I guess
