Guest gregorv Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Hello What do you think. Will this phone replace OMC as "best buy" phone. I mean: for small amount of money we got quite a good phone. Thank you. KInd regards
Guest FrankieADZ Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Hello What do you think. Will this phone replace OMC as "best buy" phone. I mean: for small amount of money we got quite a good phone. Thank you. KInd regards Price wise & spec...it should but I think its all going to come down to how easy it is/will be to customize the phone; if its as easy as the ZTE Blade was then I suspect this phone might well take the crown :)
Guest everett_psycho Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 I think it should, to me this is what the osf 2 and monte carlo should have been spec wise, what they released wasn't a good enough spec boost to warrant upgrading
Guest hecatae Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 at the moment, yes, the new zte devices have yet to appear. the Motorola MotoLuxe is an equivalent device and it's £80 more expensive, for a Moto logo and a locked bootloader
Guest unrandomsam Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Lumina 710 is a better device for not much more.

Guest hecatae Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 what do you mean with " easy it is/will be to customize the phone"? does customizing depends on the phone? We've had no reports of getting into recovery, fastboot or bootloader modes yet, plus we are waiting for the first rooted device and clockworkmod recovery port
Guest FrankieADZ Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 what do you mean with " easy it is/will be to customize the phone"? does customizing depends on the phone? well basically what Hecatae said;
Guest Simon O Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Lumina 710 is a better device for not much more. Awesome. What version of Android does the Lumia 710 run? :P
Guest PaulOBrien Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Hello What do you think. Will this phone replace OMC as "best buy" phone. I mean: for small amount of money we got quite a good phone. Thank you. KInd regards Yeah, I reckon it could definitely be the new budget king. We've had no reports of getting into recovery, fastboot or bootloader modes yet, plus we are waiting for the first rooted device and clockworkmod recovery port Can't get into fastboot / bootloader yet, I have got into recovery which won't flash unsigned zips and has ADB enabled in non-root mode only. P
Guest MrPuddington Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 Lumina 710 is a better device for not much more.Maybe so, but the difference is small, and not everybody wants a walled garden called Mango. I think both phones are going to have an impact, and maybe some of the ZTE once they become available.
Guest mealy1 Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 Awesome. What version of Android does the Lumia 710 run? :P The Nokia Lumia 710 is a Windows Phone
Guest Frankish Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 The Nokia Lumia 710 is a Windows Phone Is it?!?!
Guest Mrian Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 yes. how hard would it be to put android on that phone though? Is it?!?!
Guest NeostarNeko Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 Thinking...thinking...but no...it's a good upgrade for those using the OSF though :)
Guest DVDeus Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Agree on that! I only miss physical buttons.
