I've been trying to scan and look for a way to enable ad-hoc network support on Android and I stumbled upon this thread:

However, the solution provides no results, and doesn't end up detecting the AP (which is my laptop just setting up an adhoc network)

I'm wondering if anyone has managed to find a solution to this problem that works?
