Guest Mrian Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 Hey, so i went kind of experimental and tried to install ICS 4.0.4 xcoldfusion. I got it installed great. But then i realised i needed to partition my blade. So i used the partition layout tool to make a 195mb system, 15mb cache 230mb data, grabbed data.img, recovery.img off my nandroid backup on the ics. And then the extra atpboothd.mbn partition.mbn from jellyfish image TPT. Shoved them all together onto my SD image folder and held up and menu to cripple my Blade. Now i just get a red back button light. If i push up and on it goes green. very useful. If i leave my sd card in the phone and push up and menu it goes to the Update from T-Card green on black background up date thing again. So i can do that. Is my phone a goner, any advice? Thanks in advance maybe time to buy a new phone ian
Guest Amphoras Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 Mixing files from different TPTs isn't a good idea unless you know exactly what you are doing. Try downloading the Gen 1 to Gen 2 v10 stock TPT from here. Unzip it to your sdcard and check the files. Once you've done that start it by holding menu and vol+ the same as before. That should fix it and then you can flash ICS again.

Take the sd card out and put it into a micro sd card reader if u hv 1 then plug it into the computer. Or u can do a search on how to do it because its possible but I cnt remember where I read how to do it.

Yes, method 5 is jumping too far. It doesn't always work and can make things much worse. Trying using an sdcard reader if you have one, or put the sdcard in another phone or something to transfer the files. Fixing it with a TPT is much safer than using the ZTE flasher.
Guest Mrian Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Thanks for your responses manged to get it started using method 5, didnt have any other way of accessing the micro card at 12am at night. may have been reckless but it worked thanks for your input
