Dell XCD 35 and [GEN2] Swedish Snow RLS7 (Android 2.3.5)

I have dell XCD 35 and I want to install [GEN2] Swedish Snow RLS7 (Android 2.3.5) rom will there be any issue, regarding to language as the Rom is Swedish, if anyone has installed it then please guide me.

The ROM supports most languages, the "Swedish" refers only to the kernel which was released first in Sweden.

I too own a Dell XCD35 and I have installed the "[GEN2] Swedish Snow RLS7 (Android 2.3.5)" ROM. It works beautifully, much faster & smoother than the stock ROM that the device originally comes with. What you need to ensure is whether your device is a GEN1 or GEN2. You can download "ask mr.pigfish" from the android market (google play) and it will tell you what GEN your device is. Generally if your device came with Android 2.1 then it is a GEN1. However if it came with Android 2.2 then it is a GEN2. Nonetheless you must install the above app to verify. Once that is done you can follow the instructions on the first page of the post here.

I presume you are familiar with flashing your device. If not then PLEASE read the respective forums on modaco or even xda. If you have any doubts or need some assistance, you are most welcome to ask me here on this thread itself. There is always a first time at flashing. Regarding languages, it supports English and others as posted on the above linked thread. There are no issues to report as of now.

Thanks all....I have updated my Dell to Swedish Snow RLS7 and it works awesome and much better..now I am unable to find the PC driver through which I can access the internet (not via Usbthetring) searched on the forums got the drivers...but I need a PC suite like something....

Recently i updated to RLS9 and It's very fast and gaming performance is too good.... btw it checks automatically whether ur phne is gen1 or 2 or 3..... here u go.......

7 is working fine.....I just want a pc suite to connect my phone to PC... if there is then please provide me the link to download it....
