Guest Patrick73 Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) Click on the Above link for youtube test, The G300 does sound louder than it really is in the video. but still poor Hi I got my new g300 yesterday and I found the back speaker to be very low. I swapped it for one I knew was very loud from my Huawei G7010, turns out after putting the g300 speaker inside the G7010, its very loud like the one i took out.. Maybe Huawei will do a software patch to sort it out. I cannot return it due to stripping it down. I don't mind paying for the software on google play, if there is something that makes its better, so if just to hear it when it rings. Cheers Edited April 15, 2012 by Patrick73
Guest bumps Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) its good to see its not a hardware problem. i also own a g7010 and that things speaker is loud as hell so if they are the same im sure people can get this working just as good. about apps to help, Volume+ works its on play store or the dev has posted beta versions to download on xda forums http://forum.xda-dev....php?p=23326705 Edited April 15, 2012 by bumps
Guest Patrick73 Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) I only paid £19 for the bloody louder phone brand new. from a real shop lol. I have tried the demo version, and it does not help it. I'm thinking of calling Huawei in china on Monday to see what they say. but I might not be able to understand them. as I only speak english. Its the same size and fit etc of speaker in the G7010, and in the G300 there are two ways it can go in as the g7010 only has connections for one side of speaker top or bottom, but the G300 has top and bottom connections but the speaker only has metal on one side But thanks for the information Edited April 15, 2012 by Patrick73
Guest goodfella123 Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Strangely the volume when playing the fm radio app through loudspeaker is fine. It just seems to be alarm clocks and notification ringtones etc. Hopefully will be fixed with a custom rom.

Guest misterleoni Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 (edited) 1334607077' post=1936240'] use the systems fm radio tuner app He's right. See my post. If you plug a jack in, boot up the fm radioapp, switch to loudspeaker mode then knock the fm volume down to zero with the volume switch you can then switch to any other audio app and enjoy them at their intended volume :) the speaker is in fact pretty damn good; seems that Huawei dropped the ball with their sound setup that's all. They HAVE to fix it soon or loads of people will return them thinking they're faulty. Edited April 16, 2012 by misterleoni
