How can I unlock the pulse?

Hi, my name is Matias. I wanted to ask about a problem I'm having with my U8220 after I took it to repair (they changed the usb port). Now the usb and the phone itself works great, but I was trying to install a new rom and I noticed that now I can't start in recovery mode, bootloader, or anything. I've tried many times with the key combinations I used before, but nothing happens, the phone just starts normally. I currently have Cyanogenmod 7 installed.

I've been searching here and on the web, but I'm not sure what happened, or how to fix this, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. I wasn't able to install clockwork or amonra, because I couldn't go into bootloader. I tried downloading rom manager from the Market, and it flashed recovery. I selected restart in recovery mode from rom manager menu, and it worked. But if the phone is off, and I try with the keys, nothing happens. Same for bootloader mode, I've tried lots of times pressing the keys and nothing.

why don't you try to put stock rom and start from there?

Thanks for the help. That's what I was thinking. I could get into recovery from Rom Manager, and then flash the official 2.1 ROM, would that be ok?

I just realised that in order to install the 2.1 stock rom, I need to use vol up, red and power, and that doesn't works either.

It seems after they repaired the phone, all the key combinations don't work. I managed to get into recovery mode, from the rom manager menu, but only that.

I've heard this has happened to other people after they take it to repair, I don't know if they block something or what.

Sorry if my argentinean english is not very good. If anyone knows what might be happening, any workaround for this, any help appreciated.

I've been looking around the web and I see there are some bootloader unlock tools for other phones. I see mostly for Sony Xperia.

Does anybody knows about any booloader unlock tool or procedure for the U8220?
