Guest UnbelievablyScrewed Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) Ok so my blade's screen got cracked pretty much half way across the screen after my sister left a compass on my bed then I completed it by accidentally kneeing it when it fell through a hole in my jacket's pocket . This was about 3 months after I bought it (it was purchased in early november 2010) and I haven't been bothered to fix it since. Just wondering if I were to fix it, would it be possible to have it working with an AMOLED screen like the Samsung Galaxy S'? I know it's a silly question but as they say, better to be a fool for a second than remain a fool in silence. Edited April 15, 2012 by UnbelievablyScrewed

The early devices had oled screen, and I think there was a thread about where to get them, but I'm not sure if it can be applied on an LCD blade... Also, it has some backstabs ( sgs experience in short: LCD is better for lifetime, oled looks better but issues may come faster, especially with the yellow tint/burnt in statusbar icons ).

Assuming it's only the outside glass screen - they're on Ebay, search for digitiser: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=zte+digitiser&_sacat=See-All-Categories Gray
Guest Picazsoo Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 (edited) Assuming it is the screen itself: here you go: http://www.dealextre...n-module-110106, and I guess your digitizer is also shot. Here you go: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuine-zte-v880-touch-screen-black-random-style-109916 But link by gray66 gives you cheaper ones. Dealextreme on the other hand includes shipping for free worldwide. Edited April 16, 2012 by Picazsoo
Guest fly77girl87 Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 You'd better take your blade to ZTE authorized service center for repair.

The touch interface itself hasn't been damaged at all if that's what you're referring to :)
