Guest Dazzozo Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) Presenting... the first (released) build of CyanogenMod 7 for the ZTE Crescent! You need a 130MB system partition minimum for this ROM. This ROM is suitable for both the Orange San Francisco II, the T-Mobile Vivacity and the Telenor Touch Plus. It is 75% flibblesan's work, with me only getting Wi-Fi to work and a few extra goodies. Check the second post for known issues and the third for a change log. Guest Dazzozo Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) All Daz's work ! Here's hoping we can a solution for the front camera sometime but it's looking very complicated Yeah, you've seen it yourself. It could potentially mean no front camera in CM9/AOKP too. Oh hell, anything AOSP. I won't give up on it, though, it'll always be there rattling in my head. :P Edit: Rear should be possible in ICS, just needs some time put in to it. Guest gabriwinter Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 I flashed it and it reboots to recovery ¿do I need to use TPTs? thank you.
Guest Dazzozo Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 People can feel free to release customised ROMs based on these if they wish, by the way. I'm open to that sort of thing. :P Compiling from source is probably something a lot of people are afraid of doing. If you intend to do this, though, make sure you keep your modifications somewhere as obviously none of the ROMs are complete and you'll probably want to update yours as things are fixed.
Guest Dazzozo Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 I flashed it and it reboots to recovery ¿do I need to use TPTs? thank you. Format everything and try again.

Front Camera...is....Camera I look at when I am using, for example, Google Talk or even Tango Or, Camera I point at things and peeps to take a piccy?? Front camera is the one that looks at you (Doesn't work...yet) Rear camera is the one you use to take photos and videos (Works) The main problems, you can thank ZTE for, cos they haven't released all the stuff they need to. Guest Dazzozo Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 The main problems, you can thank ZTE for, cos they haven't released all the stuff they need to. Yeah I'm not going to lie - there's a lot ZTE could've done to make this less of a pain in the arse to do. Nevertheless, we'll plough on...

No time to test much now.. will report back. Hmm, Camera should be working to an extent as I disabled the front one causing the FCs. Can you get me a logcat? Edit: Oh dear God please don't say the Vivacity has different cameras too... Edited April 15, 2012 by Dazzozo
Guest fr0do Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Yeah looks like it to me Wireless is stuffed now too after a couple of reboots. No APs detected, and as soon as you manually config one it resets itself forgetting everything again.

If you can get me any relevant logcats it would be appreciated.

Guest PsYcHoKiLLa Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Try this app from the market and see if it will give you the camera model.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.electricsheep.asi Not sure if it will but it's worth a try.
