Anyone here has that nilkin hard cases?

I like those more than the jelly cases, but the photos look like they dont protect the corners very well, which is usually what gets more hits.

i had 1 of them(sold it now) it wasnt a bad case solid build & good quality imo but it just didnt feel right on the phone imo.

much prefer the soft cases(the one with the grips on the side) :)

My Cheapo hard case protect the corners absolutely fine.

Ditto the Meifeng. It says "soft jelly" or whatever, but mine is fairly rigid and string. Makes the phone a lot less slippy.

My Nilkin just arrived from Singapore and I must say I am impressed :D screen protector went on fine and no problem accessing the volume buttons. Phone can now stop living in it's protective sock case. It came in about 10 days as well, overall a great deal delivered for under a fiver.

Just to give some feedback, someone a few pages back talked about some matte screen covers.

I bought from that seller and the covers are amazing, very easy to apply and seem to really serve its purpose.

Pointed the light at the phone, could still see a fade "glare" but it didn't made the screen unusable.

I bought a rotten case: https://plus.google....s/DGZRpaAZWE2

It's going back. Covered in glue and scuffs, the inner liner too large forming a ghastly flap and two great bulging metal disks inside - entirely unpadded apart from a thin layer of fake suede - in order to smash my screen with

I'm looking for a decent belt-holster case - even better if it can hold the phone with its gel case on

Is the GPS ok with that case?

I did get a soft gel case off the bay but the GPS won't work :(

GPS works fine. I put my phone, with Meifeng case, into a universal armband and my GPS tracks my runs extremely accurately.

I got one of those. It's been the best I've had yet! All others have fallen apart in months. The steel III s beginning to strain now so looking for another. Want the same as you so will be interested in what you find. My old work one for my candy bar Nokia has lasted years. I know this is bigger but surely someone out there makes decent ones!

wish i'd checked this thread before buying a crappy case.

can anyone with matte screen protector please take photo of it with screen on? i had one for old u8650 or whichever it was and it made the screen fuzzy - hoping to cut glare without too much fuzz. appreciated if you have one:

Well, that's what matte protectors do. It'll always make the picture a little fuzzier I am afraid. I am using the one you posted and it's fuzzy as well. I got used to it.

I'm using the same protectors. At first you notice the image a bit fuzzy but i got used to it. And i think i can touch the phone better with this protector. The finger slides better on the screen, and its very easy to apply.

I have a jelly case that looks just like it (from the back) but doesn't have Meifeng printed on it. Search Aamzon for: Flash Superstore Huawei Ascend G300 Frosted Pattern Gel Skin Cover Black. It costs £1.99 + shipping.

It is the same vendor I also got the nasty "Vision Slim Line Huawei Ascend G300 Compatible PU Leather Horizontal Black Pouch/Case With Belt Clip"

However I am very pleased with the gel case and expect a refund + return shipping for the pouch.

There only seems to be a few belt pouches in the UK on ebay but there are these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/F46-LEATHER-CASE-CLIP-POUCH-FOR-Huawei-Ascend-G300-U8815-U8818-/251096194829?pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item3a767fdf0d#ht_558wt_1165

This one is bound to be good, but it won't clip on or off the belt, but requires to be threaded

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Krusell-Leather-Horizontal-Suitable/dp/B007VQO9NU/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ce_8

This is the nasty one I got, but not from that vendor:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Emartbuy-Vision-Compatible-Leather-Horizontal/dp/B007VQO4MQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1345450535&sr=8-2

I don't like the pattern on this one and am also afraid it is as bad as the Vision one - I am afraid it won't have proper inside padding and that the metal magnet disks will pressure the screen

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Emartbuy-Pattern-Compatible-Leather-Horizontal/dp/B007VQO6XS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1345450535&sr=8-3

I don't really want to pay £22

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ADVERTISING SPAM-Black-Leather-Huawei-Ascend/dp/B008T6123G/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_t_3

The USA has:

Thanks Sam. I've ordered that 2nd USA one as it looks like my long lasted Nokia case.

That krussel looks like one I had where the stitching fell apart rapidly. Mine was as fake. Butt ugly for £22 lol :)

Can recommend http://www.amazon.co...45552916&sr=8-2, a bit tight on the volume buttons, but not a deal-breaker, very cheap+looks good and feels solid as well :)

FlashSuperstore (Amazon Marketplace) is where I got my gel case. I'm very pleased. It's also where I got my poor quality Vision belt-clip case and they were very good and gave me full refund; so I think they are a trustworthy vendor.
