Guest EddyOS Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Take it you've seen this, Paul? http://fotadl.htc.com/OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.9-1.26.401.2_release_256505w0tk6eiq8g74y4vb.zip
Guest mils69 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 (edited) Legend! Nice one Eddy Given Paul is in Seattle, methinks it might take a while. Edited April 18, 2012 by mils69
Guest EddyOS Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 D'OH!! Problem is not being able to flash manually unless you're S-OFF!! Still, thought it may be helpful to some :)
Guest zombiefly Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 D'OH!! Problem is not being able to flash manually unless you're S-OFF!! Still, thought it may be helpful to some :) just get it OTA. if you got phone from a carrier, wait for 3 months before they decide to roll it out. This is the reason i'm carrier free :)

Guest EddyOS Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Yep, this is the EU update - other regions will come in time
Guest elaget Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Fantastic, thanks for the notification. Just downloaded OTA. Now we just wait until Paul gets his kitchen up and running :-)
Guest SozzaSinnian Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Thanks for the heads up. Only 30MB update, installed and seems fine. Battery and signal seem better but not sure if that is a placebo effect or not...
Guest EddyOS Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 This is just it, people are probably trying to do what they normally do on a much more powerful phone so battery will go down more. Best to give it a few days or, better yet, reset the handset after the OTA and start again. Ball ache, yes, but it would then give a true representation of how it works could be apps aren't yet updated to work on ICS yet so drain more battery than before
Guest TheMathMan Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Can you install OTA if you're rooted and have CWM?
Guest EddyOS Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 I wouldn't suggest it, no - it's historically lead to issues on previous HTC devices
Guest aslsthlm Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 Can you install OTA if you're rooted and have CWM? You have to flash back stock recovery, and have all apps that followed the device
Guest COJAK Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 (edited) You have to flash back stock recovery, and have all apps that followed the device pls how to doit how to flash back stock recovery pls explan to me Edited April 19, 2012 by COJAK
Guest Shuflie Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 (edited) pls how to doit how to flash back stock recovery pls explan to me Flash stock recovery I should point out you only need to do this if you have flashed a different recovery already, and there is no point if you have a carrier branded phone as they don't get the HTC OTA anyway.
