Guest hecatae Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 found here: http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/technicaIndex.do?method=gotoProductSupport&productId=3908&tb=0 Here's hoping I can find the normal non vodafone branded rom in the Normal manual as a download. Edit: 9 manuals, no software so far, unless someone else knows a way around Huawei's site
Guest goodfella123 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Click on the software tab here: http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/downloadCenter.do?method=index
Guest Simon O Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Yeah no ROMs yet which is rather annoying.
Guest hecatae Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 there is now, a G301, and the G300 apparently is the NFC version
Guest bumps Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 The german web site also says the g300 supports 720p video recording
Guest Davidoff59 Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 if you install z device test, you will see a large list of what the camera supports.
Guest bumps Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 check out the official uk page its changed alot http://www.huaweidevice.co.uk/phones/smart-phones/ascend-g300/ now says the phone has nfc and android 4.0
Guest Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) So if they are advertising the g300 as 4.0 on official uk site, that must mean that the ics update is coming real soon :D Edited May 19, 2012 by Guest
Guest FrankieADZ Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) check out the official uk page its changed alot http://www.huaweidev...es/ascend-g300/ now says the phone has nfc and android 4.0 ah yes...on the specifications page; Can only assume when that they didnt tell us the whole story regards NFC, could be wrong. as already said....hopefully they release ICS shown or Im gonna complain as its false advertisement ;) lol also it say Black & Silver model. I'll be annoyed when it comes out in general(from everyone, not just Vodafone) if the sim free version is slightly better, Edited May 19, 2012 by FrankieADZ
Guest RussellS Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) It is slightly contradictory though. On the features page it states that the G300 comes with Gingerbread and on the specifications page is says ICS. The Vodafone website still lists the specification as Gingerbread. Guest FrankieADZ Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 Z device test shows no nfc. wonder why they have it as being within the device on the Huawei page...
Guest RussellS Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 wonder why they have it as being within the device on the Huawei page... They probably just did a cut 'n' paste from the Chinese site to the UK site.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Posted May 19, 2012 It probably is a cut and paste as they have 2 different battery capacities. The Chinese one has 1350mah battery and its listed in the specs there. Its possible they may sell the one with nfc with the lower spec battery if that's how the chip is implemented but I doubt it.
