New to android

Hello all,

I have received today in the post a vodafone 858 mobile which i got for free cause i switched my internet over to vodafone.

Now i was looking through the net and found this forum which supports this handset.

My question now is i wish to chnge the fw to a costum one i found here which is called smart lucky.

How do i go about this? is it very different to flashing a nokia? is there something like phoenix of jaf for this phone?

I managed to put the phone into like a recovery boot screen (switched on while pressing the volume up button) but when i select to upgrade from sdcard i get message installation filed.

Is there someone who cn put me into the right direction to get a decent fw loaded onto this phone????
