I have Realplayer installed and it plays videos fine. I have also watched videos online and they were good using the stock player. I havent used divX specifically but if you want me to try, please post a link and a site to try it out on and I will give feedback.

I dont have wifi but videos using mobile data have been fine, much better than the blade and it downloads faster than the blade too

Try MX Player it should let you select the hardware or software codec to use, which can improve playback on weird media files
