I dunno... I finally got round to trying flash (version 11.0.1.152), and it seems to stream from iplayer with no issues except a very minor amount of choppiness :). Full screen as well!

Ok, maybe some issues... after one experiment I had to clear the browser cache to watch another video without crashing, but still, the actual video is coming in pretty well, considering this is something this phone in theory shouldn't be able to do anyway! Provided you remember to clear the browser cache when things start crashing inexplicably.

Maybe not so great for Zynga addicts, though ;)
