Tab key next to space bar in IE sessions

Hi

Now that Ive got a new HTC One X the tab key that sits to the right of my space bar on numerous pages drives me bonkers! How to I remove it? Dont need it, never use it - due to my short digits, I keep hitting the poxy key with my right thumb. I even have thumbkeypad installed and that doesnt remove it either ;(

Ive searched this site and via Google, many people complaining - no solutions ;(
