Guest eirlysbill1 Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Hi All, Sorry for all the newbie questions, but I don't have much juice (less than10%) on my Blade and I can't recharge it due to a broken usb port. It won't connect to a pc either. So, I really can't go looking around on the phone to find any answers myself. Basically, I've bought the Huawei G300, and once it comes, I want to move everything I have on the Blade, onto that. All my contacts and calendar entries have been synced last week. I can backup the texts on the Mybackup Root app, but I'll need enough juice to do it. The apps have were backed up in Titanium last week too, but I have the free version of TB, so I'm not 100% sure it works for that? A bit confused there. And, I can't remember the last time I did a nandroid backup. (Would it help to try one now, with so little battery??) Finally, the notepad entries. I have some stuff on there I'd like to save. Are they saved in a data file on the sd card? If anyone can help with any of these questions, I'd really appreciated it. I have always struggled to know exactly what to do when I've changed roms in the past. And I have lost stuff cause of my ignorance. But, now this has come upon me without warning, so I'm pretty well stuck, unless I buy one of those desktop chargers (the thing is: why do that for just one use?) Thanks any help you can give me, and all the best, Bill
Guest Davidoff59 Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Titanium backups are saved to the SD card. They will have backed up your notepad also. The rest can be got from Google, like contacts and Calender and they sync when you set up your account. No need to do a nandroid as you wont be reflashing.

Thanks... maybe I have this sussed more than I thought. But, just to be sure those TB backups were done on the free version. Does that make a difference? Cheers Edited April 30, 2012 by eirlysbill1

Does that make a difference? Cheers The only difference between the free and pro version of titanium "when it comes to moving apps" is pro moves them all in one go. On the free version you will have to move each app one at a time. There is other benefits of the pro version but you don't need it for your problem would just be quicker and easier.
