Goodbye Folks!

Well to my disappointment my ZTE Blade gave out on me today when most of the pixels in the screen died :( I didn't drop it or anything.

Anyway, thanks folks for the good time I've had here on a brilliant forum for a phone that was my first Android! I've learn't a lot in my time here and I think I can no longer consider myself a android noob! :P

See you all on the ZTE Mimosa X forum when it comes out!

I was looking at that phone on Youtube last night. That and the Zte Era. Hoping for announcement on release and pricing soon. In the meantime, huawei and HTC may be taking some of their potential customers.

I'm gutted to have to go :( Aye, I'm sure they will I, may come back ask you for advice from time to time :) And thank you for all you've done for the blade its been great! :D

Aye, its goodbye from me too.

The USB port broke on the weekend, and I think Tilal had the same problem the week before. I discovered it when I couldn't put the cord in the whole way and it wouldn't take a charge. Looked inside with a mag. glass and it was damaged. It must have finally gave way cause it wasn't dropped or anything. I could get a £10 desktop charger, but I'm going use that money to pay for an unlock code for the Huawei G300.

Its not too encouraging that there seems to be a run of broken Blades, lately. Just out of curiosity how old were your phones? Mine was a UK OLED Gen1 bought in Dec 2010 from Orange.

It has been a pleasure to be a part of this community and I have benefited greatly from all the hard work you guys have put into the Blade. Thanks again, and thanks especially to Flibblesan and KonstaT as its their roms that I have been using.

I hope the G300 forum can become a mirror of what this one was. It does look promising.
