Guest Armadillo1 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 Just a heads up really. Perhaps this is so blindingly obvious that I'm the only one who didn't just do this when I had problems, but just in case.... Basically recently I've had to put the usb cable in like 10 times before it started charging and even then it might stop charging after a short while. So, I started googling to find a replacement usb connector, but couldn't find one - even started unscrewing the screws to see how bad the connector was. For whatever reason I started putting the screwdriver into the usb connector hole and out came a lot of dust...and then some more...and then some more. In the end I think I removed AT LEAST 5 times the amount I thought would have been in there and guess what - it charges a lot easier now. Perhaps not like a new phone but at least I don't have to replugging it in 10 times. So, if you're struggling to charge your phone get out a pin/tiny screwdriver etc. and clean it out. Might just be that that is causing it :)
Guest Davidoff59 Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 Had to do that when my headphones kept popping out, a build up of fibres and dust had got into the headset Jack and was making the headphone Jack pop out. Sound was also terrible, was like a mono sound with bad volume also.
Guest WAWA72 Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 Ebay germany you will find the USB Connector.
Guest ColdEmbrace Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 I was suprised how much came out of my connector ports. Thankful for the tip. :) Compressed air is a life saver sometimes.
