Guest MustangV10 Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Hi, I was trying to install Fish n chips RLS7. Every time I turn the phone on it stays on the Fish N Chips new splash screen in RLS7 and does nothing else. I can't reinstall the OS since it's not on the memory card as I wiped that since I was getting an error about sd-card or something. Can't connect with USB now since I can't enable transfers as the phone doesn't get that far. What can I do to "fix" this? Thanks.
Guest domenico lamberti Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 luckiloy mate thats not bricked, thats jsut a boot loop, not nice to fix, but if you can get hold of someone with an SD card reader you can put it back on the card, wipe everything and try again
Guest fr0do Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Can't you mount the SD card from CWM and see it from your PC?
Guest MustangV10 Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Error mounting /sdcard! Skipping format... Done. That's what I get when I try to mount the SD card. When I try to mount USB storage, I get this: E:Unable to open ums lunfile (No file or directory).
Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Have you tried formatting, wiping cache and dalvik cache then rebooting? I had a boot loop on my old Galaxy 5 and I fixed it by just going a full wipe then rebooting it. If that doesn't work then buy a SD card reader and put the FNC zip on the card and just install it again.
Guest jasonleeds Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 boot into recovery plug in your usb then reboot recovery from within cwm, its under advanced. once rebooted back into recovery, try mount usb again and it should work. hope this helps dude
