This is basically a petition to make Qualcomm (or ARM?) release the OpenMax codex source...

The benefits are basically are that we can fix camera preview, camcorder and pano mode, and also be able to play videos in HQ accelerated by the graphics chip (hardware decoding)

To be honest I don't think we need these any more - I think I managed to compile these from source - thanks to the pointer from the P500 guys.
