Changing stock apps in Custom Rom

I have got ADW launcher and CM9 music and wish to make them system apps within the rom, which is CFX 09/05. I use ES File explorer

if i understand you correctly... you want to move those apps from user apps to system apps?

go in to settings of es file explorer and enable root/write mode

then just move them from /data/app to /system/app/

edit: then reboot. oh and rename them to the defaults in the rom if you want them to be the default apps. eg laucher.apk

Doesn't matter how apks are named. They just can't contain white spaces.

Imho link2sd is the easiest way how to make user apk a system apk.

Cheers guys used link2sd method. Seems easier
