Guest d_borghi Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 hi all, i usually change roms to find the best for my chinese zte blade. by titanium backup i see that i can backup and reinstall all my apps easily. but settings like ringtones, wifi passwords, sms, wallpapers, toggles settings, all settings standard and/or rom settings how can i avoid to reset all and restart to check all? this is a problem when i update a rom that requires a full wipe, too. any advice? tnx db
Guest i am not a hacker Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 Different ROMs require different settings so you cannot move your settings from one to another I believe unless it is just a different build of the ROM such as CM Nightlies. You can however transfer some parts such as the arrangement of your launcher which should be in the launcher preferences on a lot of launchers. If you sync the most you can with your google account before switching ROM, you can restore those once you have switched. The Google account can backup contacts, e-mails, calendars and more. Wallpapers will be stored on the SD. Hope that helped.
Guest d_borghi Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 Then everytime i will change rom, i will re-setting all. It isn't a big problem, but.... Tnx db
Guest i am not a hacker Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 You only lose the settings. Data on each app is kept though (you can do that easily).
