Hi guys its me again

every time i use the unlocker tool my phone instead booting into recovery it only boots into ftm and i cant boot into anything else but download mode and ftm

the zte software does recognise my phone but it comes up with an error

i have tried several different zte update firmware

and none of them work

Error- can not find update package

or something like that

the tpt method doesnt work

i dont know how to get adb to recognise my phone so i can install revovery through fastboot

please what else can i do

First, can you please stop making several threads throughout your entire process? It's a nightmare to keep track of.

Try another computer. I have some issues with fastboot on my Windows 8 Consumer Preview PC.

Sorry i will stop

i have tried four different laptops an pcs i will try my mums now

will adb recognise the phone while it is in ftm or download mode

Sometimes reinstalling the driver package solved adb issues and even not going into debugging mode for my SF2 with Win 7

@Daz - Win 8 CP works very much like Win 7, and adb won't have any issues if you manually copy the files to /Windows

That's what I hadn't done, I've been using my Debian laptop for all fastboot-related endeavors. Cheers for the hint, saves me some work in the future. ;)

NP, glad to be of any help :) Sticking to one platform does make things easier indeed
