Guest PaulOBrien Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 Have you pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy S III? Well, you're part of a rather huge club, with Korea Economic Daily reporting that Samsung have racked up a mightily impressive 9 million pre-orders already! The device - which is expected to start landing in consumers hands in the UK on the 29th May - is being offered for pre-order by over 100 carriers globally as well as having wide SIM-free distribution, initially in non-LTE territories due with a tweaked version with LTE support arriving later due to complications with the processor / modem pairing (the quad core CPU used in the initial version does not support a LTE modem). Korea Economic Daily cite an 'unnamed Samsung official' who says that Samsung's factories are currently running at full capacity to produce 5 million units per month. This is going to be big! If you have pre-ordered or perhaps you are still sitting on the fence, head on over to our Galaxy S III forum! Via: Reuters Click here to view the item
Guest masterpfa Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 I would like to know when the 32 & 64 GB versions would become available. Looking like a beast, a very good year so far for Android
