HTC One styling goes low budget with the Desire C

HTC have announced a new budget handset for their range, the HTC Desire C. Featuring 'One' range styling but most definitely not part of that exclusive club.

If the Desire C looks like a One series device with it's 3 button front configuration, stylised camera surround and 'drilled' speaker grille, it sadly won't perform like one with a distinctly low-budget spec sheet:

It's a rather strange device really. Some specs seem pretty decent (5MP camera with HTC Imagesense, Android 4, NFC) and others are very weak (600MHz processor, HVGA screen). It's likely rivals are devices like the Samsung Galaxy Ace which, admittedly, has sold rather a lot of units, so the market is out there!

I'm interested to see how Sense 4 runs on such a low end device and whether the camera speed lives up to it's 'ImageSense' name, so we'll be bringing you a review in due course.
