unknown Imei and airplane mode always

Hi Guys,

first of all im just a newbie with zte blade. I had gingerbread 2.3.5 and flash it with cyanogen mod. after that i think i brick it

cause i had my IMEI UNKNOWN. PLUS it always stucks on airplane mode and cannot be disable.

Please help me.. I am very desperate.

What phone do you have, as not many blades come with 2.3.5 Ginger bread as stock.

It could be you have a Gen 3 blade which might of been flashed with a gen2 rom

is it advisable to just flash it with another ROM? so that i can have my imei back? or do you have any recommendation on what to do with this phone?im really desperate to fix it. pls do help me :(

If your Blade was sold with Android 2.3.5, it means that it is gen3. There are three generations of Blades and the ROMs are incompatible with other generations.

Sold with 2.1 eclair -> gen1

Sold with 2.2 froyo -> gen2

Sold with 2.3 gingerbread -> gen3

Most ROMs in this forum are for gen2 devices only (including CM7). It seems that you have installed a gen2 ROM into a gen3 device. In that case it is normal that your device boots normally but cell radios are not working.

You can either install a G2 TPT and convert your device to gen2 or install a gen3 ROM. You can find gen3 converter from Moldovan MHMP thread. It's recommended that you use with more recent Swedish Snow though and it might even work with CM7. ;)
