Guest Mark Dearlove Posted May 20, 2012 Report Posted May 20, 2012 Nokia have started rolling out OTA updates to Lumia 800 users that they say will fix the battery drain issues many users are reporting. Nokia announced last month that they would be issuing two updates to fix the reported issues. Lumia owners will hopefully now be able to disregard the advice Nokia gave last month to 'Switch off your phone whenever you don’t plan to answer any calls, for example, while you are sleeping.' All users should see the update notification within the next 2 weeks according to the Nokia press release. Other benefits of the update include: Charging improvementsVoicemail notification improvementReplying to mail improved for Microsoft Exchange 2003 usersImproved display switching in bright lightImproved audio quality The second of the updates should arrive in early January.
