Guest PaulOBrien Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 Google Chrome Desktop version 19 has been released, which promotes the 'tab sync across devices' feature from the development channel to the release channel. The feature works exactly as you'd imagine and is particularly useful for Chrome Android users. You simply sign in to Chrome on your desktop, sign in to Chrome on your device and then the tabs you have open on each machine are accessible from the other device as required. Start browsing some sites at home, go out and you can carry on where you left off on your phone. Excellent! :) The feature is supported on all Chrome platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS) and adds to the existing bookmarks, history, omnibox (aka address bar) sync support that makes the application so indispensable on Android (as long as you have Ice Cream Sandwich of course)! Check out the video below to see the feature in action. Click here to view the item
Guest masterpfa Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 Great to see that all devices opened tabs can be viewed from all devices. Many a times I have had a window open on my phone that I would like to view from my desktop. Nice one Google.
