USB EU power adapter for the U8815 Uk version

I'd like to know which kind of power adapter is needed in order to plug an U8815 Uk in Spain (we use a different connector, don't know how is called) . Do I need to buy a original Huawei adapter or a cheaper one will also work ?

Any micro USB charger will work. Either that or a charger with a standard USB socket and then use a standard micro USB lead to connect it to the phone.

If Spain uses the standard European mains plug then one of these will do the trick

Make sure it has a 1A output otherwise the phone will take a lot longer to charge.

Funny enough mine came with a continental charger, would you like to swap? Actually I have probably enough of either one.

Generally all phones use the same USB connector, so you can charge it with an mobile phone charger. However, fast charging may or may not work with a different charger, because different non-standard wiring layouts are used to support more than the 0.5A of the standard USB connector.

You should also be able to buy an adapter at the Euro store, so you can use the included charger. Certainly in the UK these adapters are available everywhere.

Will the phone can get damaged if I buy an adapter at the Euro store and use the included charger? It seems to me too much junk joined together to charge the phone...Does the phone explode when doing that ? Just kidding ;-)
