update gen 1 racer to gen 2 racer

i want to upgrade my gen 1 racer to gen 2 racer......i know there are several roms for that..................but i see users reporting that after flashing gen 2 upgrading rom ......there phone won't boot neither the recovery nor the normal startup .......it gets stuck....& moreover fastboot recovery isn't available for gen 2 ............so i want to safely upgrade my phone from gen 1 to gen 2..............plz help...............thanx.....

I read about an app called tpt helper on Google play, it is written it works on zte phones to convert to Gen 2... & it is tested on zte blade. ,should I use it on my phone....any help

read the post for dump you rom 2.1 (recommend this method because it makes a backup of the entire phone. and that you can return back gen1. cwclockwork unlike that only makes a backup of the rom without the necessary files to make the phone gen1):
