Porting phone.apk and contacts.apk ???

could any1 tell me how can i port phone.apk and contacts.apk from other roms.

i tried replacing those two apks to my rom but no luck ..

it force closes when open'd ... can any1 help me in this.. :(

From which ROM are you copying to??

i tried copying from miui and also from lewa rom.. but none worked. :( can u help me plzz

From, MiUI / Lewa into which ROM and what version of Android??

Why do you want to replace Phone.apk and Contacts.apk why not install a 3rd party application instead??

I think MIUI phone.apk and contact.apk will not work with other roms. (same for Lewa)

Or else there would not be any speciality of MIUI and Lewa all roms would have had the custom dialers and unique style ;)
