Cwm recovery flashing using Pauls root file question

I seem to remember that someone edited Paul's root method file and instead of installing the root files, it installed clockworkmod recovery instead.

Does anyone have any info on how to do this please.

I am thinking it may have been Frankish that did it this way.

I had Adb on laptop but had to do a system restore due to a virus.

Any help appreciated.
