Developing ROM for the Skate

Hey guys, I was wondering if you talented devs would be able to help me out.

I've become interested and would like to try developing a ROM for our beloved Skate.

The only problem is... I'm not sure where to start. I know I need to be using Linux, which is no problem. I'm guessing the Android SDK is also needed? I'm also relatively comfortable with coding too.

I have searched online and all I've found is to use kitchens and stuff, which isn't really what I want to do.

So I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'd love to be able to help maintain one of the releases and help out in the community.

Depends what you want to do really.

Compile CM9: You'll need Linux and be able to use the terminal.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I just wanna try out doing different things with Android other than customising the already made ROMs.
