not picking up virgin

just bought the g300 2 days ago and downloaded the volume setup and bought unlock code on ebay to change from vodaphone to virgin which ive just done . however wifi works ok but just been out and not receiving any signal for the internet. Is there something else i should be doing/changed? Any help gratefully received

Go to settings/wireless networks/mobile networks/network settings/access point names/

Now press menu and select new apn and enter then android apn settings for virgin :)

Name = Virgin Mobile UK

APN = goto.virginmobile.uk

Proxy = Not Set

Port = 8080

Username = wap

Password = wap

Server = Not Set

MMSC = http://mms.virginmobile.co.uk:8002

MMS Proxy = 193.030.166.002

MMS Port = 8080

MMC = 234

MNC = 30

Authentication Type = Not Set

APN Type = default,mms

I worked that out after I had posted and switched off the machine, then was too busy for the last two days to post a reply or remove the old one.
